Who We Are
Thank you for inquiring! You found us & here is the "Who, What, Why, When, & Where" of Green Services... Jeremy is our contractor; he has been doing business as Green Services since 1996. In 2000 Jeremy met Rebecca & joined together to create this family business, which loves to do what we do. With a preference for quality, organic methods, and seasonal gardening, Green Services specializes in a personal approach to create your vision of grandeur or implement low impact functionality at your residential or rural home, rental or commercial property. We can also help to repair or retro-fit your existing landscape and create ways to improve upon what you already have to work with. We also prefer drought tolerant and sustainable methods, but Green Services can help you with whatever you actually need done at your place with efficiency & nature in mind. We truly understand the need for organic, natural ways! We want to discuss the impact you can have, to help expose yourself & others to the wonderful things that we can continually do to improve upon the current environmental situations, concerns, & living consequences of the past generations choices. As we continue to practice, share, & implement permacultural principles in some way or another for each one of our customers, we try to encourage everyone to grow more of what they need or would use, instead of maintaining & watering something that doesn’t give back for the effort put in to it or money spent on it… One property at a time!
What We Care About
We care about your landscaping happiness & the planet that we share together with you! We care about what you care about, and weather or not you have a nice area to hang out & relax in outdoors around your place or at work. We care about you getting the most out of your surroundings. We care about you having what you need & want closer to you; like fresh foods available right outside your door or just a comfortable spot to sit. We care about making your money go farther by making your landscape work better for you all around; in all seasons and in the long run. We also care about being conscientious citizens, we realize that California is almost always in a drought and so much of our water is being purchased & wasted on unattended landscapes in each & every county around our state & beyond. Please help in the effort with us to conserve our clean (expensive) tap water by being a responsible owner who pays more attention to their property or at the least finds the help needed to make it happen regularly. It will only be contributing to helping keep our water districts from relying on purchasing out of state water (even more expensive), and it will also be contributing to the conservation of our very own financial budget at the same time. We care about creating community through cohesion between each other and the land. We care about a lot, but we care most about completing a quality job for you, our customers!
Why We Do This
We do this because ultimately we love the living outdoors, the nurturing of nature as God created for us. We do this to educate others in the many aspects of how landscaping & our environment work together. We also do this because we enjoy gardening & the time we get to spend outside at home, at work, & out in the world in our travels. We do this because we want you to enjoy your outdoor living spaces. So if you need a change, something repaired, pruned or removed, or if you are actually getting to start with a blank canvas... We do this so that you can find us & along with our many return customers you can have a professional, caring, down to earth, legitimate organic landscape contractor & consultant. Green Services does this with your best interest in mind when it comes to your private space or professional environment.

When We Do This
We are blessed to be able to do this year round here in sunny Southern California, however no matter where you live a landscape still needs attention in all four seasons. When we do this we have the greatest of care and respect for you and your place and we do not hire anyone that we would not feel comfortable with taking to our own home or our mothers' home. When we do this for you, our licensed contractor is involved and can either take care of it on his own, sub-contract, or work directly with you to complete your services. When we do this it is by scheduled appointments, when the weather permits, usually during daylight hours, and when you are ready to move forward with us. When we do this we consider your budget carefully, but we can not compromise quality to save a dollar or set ourselves up to fail because of it. When we do this we take the time needed to complete our services right the first time for you.
Where We Do This
In Southern California we have a great advantage of quality of life over most of the rest of the world because of our location. One being the wonderful weather and our mellower climate changes throughout the seasons that allow us to be outside for almost all of the year to enjoy our landscapes & the great outdoors. The other is diversity of terrain between the supple, fertile coastal areas to the harder, harsher dessert inland areas with the rich, abundant mountainous areas in between and the wide range of landscaping choices amongst them all. Luckily for us, where we do this means we are able to operate year around in these conditions, and it also means that we as a population do more than others outside, hanging out & conducting business more often year round. Through the years we have traveled all over California to assist wonderful people & improve their places.
